An Herbal Faire

Saturday, May 16 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Come out to the farm for an herbal frenzy! Evergreen Lavender Farm, Long Ears Herbs, and the Southern Virginia Herbal Society will have potted herbs, books, and herbal refreshments for your purchasing pleasure.

Free workshops!  Lavender Planting and Care at 10:00 a.m. and Medicinal Herb Tinctures at 11:00 a.m.

Evergreen Lavender Farm is a family owned business located in the rural community of Evergreen in Appomattox County, Virginia. In 2009, the farm began to transition from cut flower production to field grown lavender. The lavender harvested is used for our handmade sachets, eye pillows, lotions, and soaps.  'Provence' is our only culinary lavender, but other culinary varietes will be planted this fall.  Farm visits will be from Thursday through Sunday, 10:00 to 4:00, from May 28th to July 19th, after that, the farm will be closed because the lavender has been cut, however if you would like to visit, please make an appointment. Lavender is not our only horticultural component, for there are several flower gardens to see.  The farm will be offering scheduled workshops for successful planting of lavender,  creating a lavender wreath, and making your own lotion, so "like" us on Facebook to know when they are or check back to our website.   The farm is a wonderful outdoor venue to celebrate your special occasion, but remember, we are a farm, not a country club! We have many plans and are hopeful that visitors will discover Evergreen Lavender Farm as a relaxing, beautiful, and educational experience.

Workshops and Special Events

Herb Faire- May 16  9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.   A variety of herbs for sale.  Workshops about the planting, care, and uses of herbs. 

Opening on May 28 through mid-July, Wednesday through Sunday from 10 to 4.  Relax in the gardens, cut your own lavender, and shop in the caboose!

Evergreen Lavender Festival  June 20  11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.   Music, food, artists, crafters, wine, and lavender!!

Plein Air workshop- June 27  9:30 a.m. to noon.  The Double Line Painters of the Blue Ridge will teach you how to paint the lavender fields.  $40 pre-registration required.

Evergreen Lavender's lotions, butters, sprays, and soaps are at Nina Belle's, The Museum of the Confederacy, and Country Charm in Appomattox .
