Paint the Lavender Fields

Saturday, June 27 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The Double Line Painters will provide all the supplies, instruction and personal attention for participants to create a finished landscape of the lavender in bloom.  Several unconventional painting tools and methods will be used to make the process even more exciting and fun.

The cost is $40 and includes all materials to create a 11 inch by 14 inch acrylic painting.  Registration with a non-refundable deposit is required as the class size is limited to 15.  Participants will need to bring an apron or old shirt to protect their clothes.

An afternoon class will be added if the morning fills. All supplies and help are included to complete a painting. There will be several instructors so everyone will get lots of attention! The cost is $40.

Evergreen Lavender

Evergreen Lavender Farm is a family owned business located in the rural community of Evergreen in Appomattox County, Virginia. In 2009, the farm began to transition from cut flower production to field grown lavender. The lavender harvested is used for our handmade sachets, eye pillows, lotions, and soaps.  'Provence' is our only culinary lavender, but other culinary varietes will be planted this fall.  Farm visits will be from Thursday through Sunday, 10:00 to 4:00, from May 28th to July 19th, after that, the farm will be closed because the lavender has been cut, however if you would like to visit, please make an appointment. Lavender is not our only horticultural component, for there are several flower gardens to see.  The farm will be offering scheduled workshops for successful planting of lavender,  creating a lavender wreath, and making your own lotion, so "like" us on Facebook to know when they are or check back to our website.   The farm is a wonderful outdoor venue to celebrate your special occasion, but remember, we are a farm, not a country club! We have many plans and are hopeful that visitors will discover Evergreen Lavender Farm as a relaxing, beautiful, and educational experience.
