Come and Paint the Lavender Farm!
The Double Line Painters of the Blue Ridge will lead a paint-a-long workshop on Saturday, June 25 from 10AM- 12 Noon.
“This workshop with several members of the Double Line Painters will provide all the supplies, instruction and personal attention for participants to create a finished landscape of the lavender in bloom," notes Sue Furrow.
Several unconventional painting tools and methods will be used to make the process even more exciting and fun.”
“New this year is the option to paint a garden shed in the gardens”, adds Mary Anne Meador, "and as in the other painting, we will be using some unexpected tools and techniques.”
The cost is $40 and includes all materials to create an 11 x 14 inch acrylic painting. Registration with a non-refundable payment is required as the class size is limited to 15.
Participants will need to bring an apron or old shirt to protect their clothes.
An afternoon class will be added, if needed.
