Have you ever wanted to create a painting outdoors, on location but didn’t know where to start? This class is designed to take the fear out of making art outside with a non-traditional twist. Meet at the barn. Class will meet rain or shine as we can set up in view of the flowers under cover.

Class Supply List:
-Viewfinder — if you don’t have one, here is a video for how to make a viewfinder
-Art Supplies — Bring what you have (or can borrow)
Equipment:
-Folding easel at standing height or a large piece of foam core/carboard for your lap (optional towel to protect your legs)
-Camp stool or folding lawn chair.
-Paint (use whatever you have), or other options: markers, colored pencils, watercolor pencils
-Brushes (if needed) 2 or 3 max: a small, medium and large
-Palette for paint: use a shallow pan from take-out, egg carton (plastic or styrofoam)
-Container to hold colors of pencils, crayons, markers, etc
-Plastic tub to hold water for paint/watercolor pencils, etc (if needed).
-Surface for painting (8×10” recommended maximum size): paper, canvas board, prepared panel
Personal Supplies
-Hat with a brim (to better see color)
-Sunscreen
-Bug spray
-Water bottle
-Dress in layers
-Paper towels for clean-up
